Play Snake onlineWhat is Snake?
Snake is a classic arcade game where the player guides a moving line or snake, collects food, grows longer, and avoids collisions. The challenge increases because every pickup reduces the free space available for future movement.

What is Endless mode?
Endless mode continues until a collision. The snake grows and the pace becomes faster as the run progresses. It is the main mode for personal best scores.
How do portals work?
Entering one portal moves the snake head to its paired exit while preserving the direction of travel. Check the exit before entering because it can be near a wall or body segment.
What is the combo multiplier?
Collecting fruit quickly builds a multiplier that increases scoring. Waiting too long lets the combo reset. A safe route is more valuable than preserving a risky combo.
Why can I not reverse direction?
A direct reversal would move the head into the first body segment, so the game ignores that input. Turn perpendicular first.

Snake 3D is a web game and should be loaded with an internet connection. It does not currently install an offline service worker.
Can I play Snake at school?
The game requires no installation, but access depends on the school device and network policies. It does not bypass restrictions.

Yes, on a Chromebook with a modern supported browser. Keyboard and touch controls can both work on touchscreen models.
What happens at maximum Snake length?
There is no single maximum shared by every mode because maps have different free cells and obstacles. A run becomes increasingly constrained as the board fills.
Who invented Snake?
Snake developed as a game family rather than a single modern title invented at one moment. The 1976 arcade game Blockade is commonly treated as an early ancestor. Learn more in the history guide.
Who made Snake for Nokia phones?
Nokia design engineer Taneli Armanto programmed the version introduced on Nokia devices in 1997.

Which browsers support Snake 3D?
Snake 3D targets current versions of major browsers with WebGL and modern JavaScript support. If the board does not render, update the browser and confirm that hardware acceleration is available.
