Snake is a classic arcade game where you guide a growing snake, collect food, and avoid crashing into walls or your own tail. Snake 3D keeps those simple rules and adds portals, combos, ten maps, and an endless mode.

Choose Endless or Levels, then move in one of four directions. Eat the fruit to add a segment to the snake and increase your score. Plan every turn early: the longer the snake becomes, the less open space remains. A run ends when the head hits the snake’s body or a solid obstacle.
This version begins at a readable pace and becomes faster as you score. Portals move the head to the opposite side of the board while preserving direction. Consecutive fruit pickups build a combo multiplier, so efficient routes earn more points than slow, isolated pickups.

Desktop
Use the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. Press Escape or P to pause. Inputs are queued, which lets you prepare a quick corner without waiting for the next movement step.
Mobile
Swipe across an open part of the game screen or use the four arrow buttons. The control size can be changed to Medium, Large, or Extra Large in Settings.
Snake Game Modes
Endless
Keep growing for as long as possible. Speed increases during the run, your best score is saved on the device, and sharing a final score on X unlocks one second-life attempt.
Levels
Progress through ten boards with different layouts, goals, obstacles, portal positions, and starting speeds. Later maps demand tighter turns and better space management.

Yes. Your personal best and preferences are saved locally in the browser on the current device. There is no online leaderboard.
Can I play at school?
The game runs in a browser without installation. Availability still depends on the school’s device and network policies; it does not bypass network restrictions.
History of Snake
Snake belongs to a family of maze games that became popular in the late 1970s. The idea spread across home computers and calculators because the rules were easy to understand and the game required very little hardware. Its best-known mainstream breakthrough came when a version was included on Nokia phones in the late 1990s.
Modern browser versions keep the original loop—move, eat, grow, survive—while adding smoother input, touch controls, new board designs, and visual depth. Snake 3D follows that tradition without replacing the core challenge.
